Set your sights on Table Rock Lake in Arkansas for a satisfying vacation the whole family will remember for years.
This 3,083-acre state park encompasses challenging hiking trails, two park lakes – one with an old fashioned swimming hole, a beautiful waterfall and many other quality outdoor activities.
The Table Rock State Park hiking trails take hikers past mountain streams and waterfalls to the tops of Pinnacle and Table Rock mountains. While the park is well known to outdoor enthusiasts for its natural features, Table Rock also has its place in history. Many of the Table Rock State Park cabins and other structures built by the CCC remain standing and are on the National Register of Historic Places. If you’re a Geocaching enthusiast, there are several in the area. If you have never participated in a Geocaching hunt try it! It’s fun for the entire family.
A few miles away is Ozarks Luxury RV Park. It’s in a great spot on the lake and is only 30 minutes from Branson – if you can tear yourself away from here! Besides the lake and a full service marina – there’s a nice golf course, pickleball courts, swimming pool and clubhouse.
For fishing, leisure boating and water sports it’s harder to find a better location! There are several lakes in the general area – Pinnacle Lake, Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee and Lake Hartwell.
