At a pool party on the 4th of July we were served these wonderful Mini Brie Bites! You might want to make up a batch for your next get together. We liked them so much we’re making them for our next party!

Of course, you can change up the toppings if you would like. Use red pepper or jalapeno jelly with pecans or raspberry jam and almonds or green chile and bacon, just to mention a couple of ideas. Get creative! Just be sure to use a soft cheese so it will melt.

Best news is that they are super simple to make and sure to make raves when served!

24 Frozen Phyllo Cups

8 oz. Brie with rind removed, cut into 24 small cubes

6 oz. frozen black cherries, thaw and cut into small pieces and reserve juice

3 Tbs. maple syrup

Sliced Almonds

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cups on sheet and add onepiece of brie to each cup. Top off with equal amount of chopped cherries and reserved juice.

Drizzle a little maple syrup over each, sprinkle a few almonds on top and place in hot oven for 7 to 9 minutes or until Brie is melted. Watch phyllo cups to make sure they don’t burn.

You and your guests are going to love them!
