Everyone loves pizza but instead of ordering delivery on Game Day, deliver your own delicious snack. These Buffalo Chicken Pizza bites are sure to be a hit with the crowd! It’s easy to do and can be made in advanced – I would make more than 1!
1 – Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust or 12 o. of your favorite pizza dough
3/4 Cup of buffalo wing sauce – your favorite purchased or homemade. Spice it up to your liking!
2 Cups shredded, cooked chicken – easy to pick up one at the deli (don’t use canned)
4 oz. grated cheddar cheese
4 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Heat oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with sides with non stick spray.
Form the pizza dough into a rectangle that fits the sheet.
Place into oven and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.
In a saucepan, add buffalo sauce to the shredded chicken and cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes to combine and warm the ingredients.
To assemble the pizza, spread the chicken mixture over the top of the prebaked, cooled crust and then top with the shredded cheeses and half of the onions.
Place under the broiler until cheese is bubbly. Remove and top with the remainder of the onions.
Slice into ribbons and then into smaller bites. As an added touch, I sprinkle a little bleu cheese on top!
