A couple of years ago Connie (my wife) and I took a trip up the Alaska Highway in our 2005 Winnebago Sightseer.
Some of the sights we saw were pretty cool. Many of the animals that live in that area of the world hang out pretty close to the road, and when you’re traveling in a motorhome, it’s pretty easy to just pull over and enjoy the view.

We read the article in one of your “Good Times” newsletters about Palo Duro Canyon in the Texas Panhandle and decided to hook up our Palomino pop-up trailer and do some camping there. Wow, what a treat!
We had no idea that this very unusual area of Texas existed so close to Albuquerque. We found clean restrooms, showers, hiking trails and some super areas for wildlife viewing as well as scenic overlooks.
