Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is what’s known as a Mega Park, which means it has more than 500 camping sites. The resort has consistently received top honors in the industry and raving reviews from guests. This year it was once again named “Park of the Year” in the Mega Park category. So, what makes it so special? With a focus on families, pets, having fun and building long lasting memories, the park sees guests return again and again making it a second hometown community for many.

Ocean Lakes covers 310 oceanfront acres with nearly one mile of soft sand beachfront and Atlantic Ocean delights. It offers 3,447 sites — 893 of which are large and all are pull-through.
Some sites can accommodate 40’ RVs and larger with slide-outs on both sides. All sites include water, sewer, 20-30-50 amp electric, 70 channel cable TV, daily trash pickup and a picnic tables. Wi-Fi is available. It’s like a small city with a café, Laundromat, grocery store and family fun center.

Recreational activities are numerous. There is a great Miniature Golf course, a game center, pool with sun decks, volleyball, shuffleboard, basketball, bicycle rentals, fishing and of course, the beach and ocean!
The resort offers many special events throughout the year, so no matter what time of year you visit, there’s likely something interesting going on! There’s the annual Beach n’Boogie weekend, an annual Quilt Gala in February, a Crafts Fair in September and the annual Bluegrass Weekend and golf car poker run that happens in August. Halloween is also a special time at Ocean Lakes with costume contests for humans and pets!

This RV site did it up in a big way!
If you‘re the type that likes lots of people to interact with and lots of things to do then Ocean Lakes is the place for you!
