You will love this cornbread with green chili, corn and cheese mixed in!
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 Tbs. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup chopped green chili
2 cups grated longhorn cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with Pam.
Add corn meal to buttermilk and set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, egg and oil. Stir until well mixed. Stir in rest of ingredients. Combine with corn meal mixture. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Serve warm!
