Rocky Mountain RV & Marine co-owners Judy Roberts and her brother Rick Scholl enjoy the camaraderie of the RV lifestyle at the NASCAR races with their significant others Ed Roberts & Colleen Scholl.
“We usually try to attend the races that are relatively close to Albuquerque. Phoenix, Las Vegas & the Texas Motor Speedway are within a one-day drive, and we make those races almost every year. The Texas Motor Speedway Samsung Mobile 500 is April 9th this year and we’re looking forward to that race,” said Judy. “It’s really a lot of fun seeing our friends that are NASCAR regulars. We cook and hang out with them; it’s almost like our own little RV club. We go into the pits and take pictures of the cars, drivers and race team owners, like this one of me and Richard Petty,” she added.
NASCAR is one of the most popular spectator sports worldwide and RVing at NASCAR events is more popular than ever. There are hundreds of NASCAR RV clubs, and many of them sponsor several events at each race.
